The Return of the Olympians (1 December 2008)
Following a years hiatus the London Olympians will be returning to league action for the 2009 season.
After the announcement that they had successfully completed their Associate
membership Coach Warren Smart commented, I am delighted that the
hard work put in by all the backroom staff and all the players throughout
the year has resulted in a successful re-appointment to the league.
We are looking forward to returning to competitive action in 2009 and
welcoming even more new players, coaches and staff to join our team.
The current team are delighted with the decision of the league and I
would like to pass on my thanks to everyone at BAFL and BAFA who were
so supportive throughout a difficult year. Now that our future is secure
we can start planning for the new season and we plan to hold a recruitment
